FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Air Belize Start-Up Venture Planned08/16/06 -- Wing It Aviation Consulting, Inc. and its European partner, Swiss Aviation Group (SAT) have formed a partnership for the development of Air Belize. This project will require the country of Belize to upgrade its entire civil aviation authority structure in pursuit of the coveted Category I status required by both European ICAO member states and the US. Currently, the country of Belize resides in Category III. Wing It Aviation has agreed to take the lead role in developing the Belizean Civil Aviation Authority. Air Belize plans on entering the international marketplace with non-stop flights between Belize and five European destinations. Initial flights are planned to coincide with the completion of the runway lengthing project currently underway at the Belize City International Airport. US markets are also planned with initial non-stop flights to Miami, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. A New Challenger 602 is on the property!04/10/06 -- Due to their rescent expansion and acquisition of new aircraft, Corporate Air Charters, a FAR 135 operator based at the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (KTMB) has extended its relationship with Wing It Aviation Consulting to undertake several additional projects for that company. At the top of the list is the addition and merger of their new Challenger 602 into their fleet of existing executive charter jet aircraft where it can be utilized to its full advantage. It is anticipated that flight crews will be trained and this new aircraft will be operating by mid-May.
Island Air Charters management deal struck.03/30/07 -- Beginning this date, Wing It Aviation Consulting has taken over the management of Island Air Charters, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) based FAR 135 air taxi operator. Island AIr Charters currently operates a fleet of three Britten-Norman Islander BN-2A aircraft on both scheduled and on demand charter flight service into and out of the Bahamas, primarily servicing Bimini, Cat Cay and Ocean Cay. The business plan for this 20 year old company includes the expansion of its existing service to other islands in the Bahamas and the acquisition of additional aircraft. Island Air Charters adds a Piper Chieftain to its fleet.12/05/08 -- With the completion of flight operations, crew training and maintenance inspections, today the FAA authorized Island Air Charters to begin making revenue flights in their newly acquired Piper Chieftain PA-31-350. With this aircraft, Island Air Charters will expand its service to include all islands in the Bahamas.
Island Air Charters Moves its Flight Operations and Maintenance Operations10/01/12 -- Island Air Charters flight operations and maintenance operations have moved into Hangar 18 on the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Island Air Charters will perform all aircraft maintenance (except engine overhauls) at this facility. In addition to maintaining its own fleet of aircraft, Island AIr Charters - through its maintenance company IAC Aircraft Maintenance, Inc. - will offer maintenance to the general public.
